Course Overview
MBBS stands for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. It is a Degree dual in Nature Conferred by the Medical University Approved and Recognized by NATIONAL MEDICAL COMMISSION. Earlier the Degree was Recognized by MCI but from 25th Sep 2024 It is being replaced by NMC i.e NATIONAL MEDICAL COMMISSION. The Duration of this Course is 5.5 Yrs including 1 year of Internship in Various Medical Camps, Health Centers and Community Hubs etc. Sometimes It might be paid. Mbbs Admission Process:
In order to get admission to a Medical College in India, One should pass the NEET exam Conducted by NTA (NATIONAL TESTING AGENCY). There is a certain process for Occupying a seat in a Medical College to fulfill One’s Aspiration.
- Registration is the very first process for the Entrance exam in which basic details like Candidate Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, E-mail Id are to be filled.
- After Registration, The form filling Process starts in which All the Details Including Personal and Academic Details are to be filled along with the Uploading of all the Documents Required.
- After successfully filling the form the Candidate has to pay the Application Fee.
- The next step is to click on the ‘Confirmed’ Tab as It is necessary to take out the Print with all the Information Provided by the Candidate himself/herself.
- On the basis of Details fed by the Candidate the Admit Card is Issued which is Quite Necessary to Attempt the Exam.
- After attempting the exam, Results are Published in which the Candidate must qualify with a Good Score to be in the Merit List because This list will determine the College that the Candidate is going to be Offered.
On the ground of Score One gets in the Entrance Exam, Candidates are called for the Counselling where they need to Select the College from the list of Colleges which will be Offered to them On the Basis of Rank they Achieved. At this Stage of Admission, a Candidate should take the help of an Experienced Counselor. Counseling is a very arduous task and it must be Well Articulated.
